Mineral Sizing

We use the maximum dimension of a specimen, in metric units.
Thumbnail – up to 3 cm (a competition thumbnail should fit into a 1" cube).
Miniature – over 3 cm but no more than 6 cm (a competition miniature should fit into a 2" cube).
Small Cabinet – over 6 cm but no more than 10 cm (roughly 4").
Cabinet – over 10 cm.

Photography - New Monitor! (Hallowe'en, 2023)

All images of items for sale were taken by Helen Tyson, using a Canon Rebel T2i EOS 550D (usually with a macro lens, Canon EF 100 mm F 2.8), under a 5000K artificial light source.

Images were processed in Corel PhotoPaint 2021. All images posted on/after October 31, 2023 were processed using a 2023 ViewSonic/ColorPro monitor (Pantone validated, professionally installed and calibration checked).

Shipping

After payment is received, we will ship anywhere in the world that is serviced by Canada Post, UPS or FedEx.  Please contact us for a detailed quote.

Returns

Within 30 days of the date on your invoice you may return items - for any reason whatsoever - provided:

• They are in the condition in which they were received.
• You provide photographs if your shipment was damaged (preferably digital images you can e-mail).
• The goods are carefully packed for return (preferably in their original box & wrappings).
• You e-mail us a digital photo of your invoice (if you still have it).
