Nova Scotia Epidote
A common component of metamorphic rocks, ranging in colour from pale yellow-green to a rich pistachio green
Torn up from the ocean floor, water-worn chunks of epidote can be found on several beaches around the Bay of Fundy. The pieces with the best colour and pattern make attractive jewellery.
